A manifold is the piping on each animal cage rack. Connected to the manifold at each cage position are drinking valves through which the animals access water. Our manifolds are designed specifically for each manufacturer's racks.

Parts Kit

Automated Watering System (AWS) Service kit
is a universal kit which contains parts for minor
repairs of drinking valves and manifolds. A plastic
divider box contains the parts with a map of each
part location, part number and quantity within the kit.

Rack Manifolds
|
|
 On a mouse or rat rack, the manifold is typically a reverse "S" design. Water flows from the bottom levels to the top of the rack in an "S" pattern. This allows air to be vented from the manifold. Reverse "S" also eliminates dead legs which contribute significantly to microbial growth. There are other configurations available, and you can depend on us to recommend the best option for your application.
