Service Technician - CT

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with strong troubleshooting skill and mechanical ability.  Responsibilities include field service, system start-ups, light plumbing, preventive maintenance contracts and troubleshooting products and components.

Product Specialist, Environmental Control and Monitoring

We are seeking a Product Specialist to drive revenue and profit growth of our environmental control and monitoring solutions and support new product development related to GMP and GLP industry segments.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Act as the product expert for assigned product(s), by demonstrating the value of a given feature, set atritbute, etc. through presentations to customers via webcast or in person.
  • Support in the overall sales cycle.
  • Responsible for management of sales and/or customer prospect interactions with reference/beta sites.
  • Assist in sales training, collecting market intelligence and competitive feedback.
  • Become in-house expert in competitive differentiation and positioning.
  • Represent in GMP and GLP industry settings, tradeshows, and sales meetings to promote sales, convey professionalism and improve customer appreciation and awareness to product(s).
  • Drive achievement of revenue targets by providing support for opportunities in the sales funnel.
  • Provide post-installation field support to application-level problems and questions, while being able to identify the root cause of issues by identifying, implementing or recommending improvement programs.
  • Represent headquarters in new product introductions, implementation of sales programs and provide feedback to product management team on field concerns, issues and customer requirements.
  • Represent product management team (i.e. voice of customer) in Agile product development meetings for assigned product lines and/or feature sets under development.
  • Assist product management in the development of both short and long-term strategies to grown market share while supporting the business initiatives.
  • Assist product management in the development of product/market requirements, use cases, user interface, etc. and assure requirements meet the customer needs.
  • Assist product management in the prioritization of product enhancements.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of promotional and educational items such as white papers, webinars, demos, videos, presentations, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining/updating competitive intelligence information from SharePoint.
  • Manage time and resources (e.g. samples, demo instruments, expenses) to maximize growth while adhering to budget guidelines.

Software Test Lead

As Software Test Lead, you will oversee the lab, test progress, legacy products, test efforts and manage documentation for the testing of Edstrom software, electrical and mechanical products.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead, guide and train the test team for testing and documentation.
  • Attend requirements and test cases review meetings.
  • Document, implement, monitor and enforce all processes for testing per standards defined by Edstrom.
  • Create test cases based on requirements.
  • Maintain ESX Server, VMware and lab network.
  • Manage the support and coordination of outsourced software and electrical testing inside and outside of the United States.

Network and Systems Administrator

As Network and Systems Administrator you will administer, document, monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, plan, implement and maintain a viable network and enterprise software infrastructure that meets the needs of internal clients.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Administer, plan, implement, document, manage, maintain, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, support, and upgrade:
  • LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN/Mobile network architecture, devices and security consisting of Cisco, HP, and Juniper routers, firewalls and switches.
  • VMWare virtual server architecture and infrastructure.
  • Server infrastructure, devices, and software systems consisting of Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
  • Off-site Oracle EBS and Business Intelligence databases, software, hardware, and network architecture.
  • Various server applications and services including, but not limited to: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Exchange.
  • Management of suppliers and carriers providing off-site hosting, data centers, Oracle DBA, T1 circuits, cable internet service and private MPLS circuits.
  • Management of backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions.
  • Engineering of solutions for additions of new resources such as connectivity to the off-site Oracle network, printers, fax servers, supply chain scan guns, database reporting services and tax databases, etc.
  • Engineering of new and upgraded solutions as required by the organization that fit Edstrom's current system architecture.
  • Provide emergency response to local and remote network and system errors, alerts and outages.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Project Engineer

Our Sales Engineering team is seeking a Project Engineer to design engineered projects within the Edstrom Engineering Guidelines.  Key job responsibilities will include:
  • Review initial estimate of the Sales Engineer.
  • Accurately design the systems utilizing scope of work and Application Release Guidelines.
  • Perform flow calculations including water, air, pressure, etc. as necessary.
  • Review drawings including floor plans, details, electrical/networking schematics, fabrication drawings, etc.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials for release of material into production to meet Edstrom process requirements.
  • Provide project details to the Drafting department in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain customer configuration and data files.
  • Distribute all required customer manufacturing drawings (tank configuration, electronic assembly, R&D, OPC, etc.) and ensure sign-off.
